For 2500 years, Buddhism has taught meditation as a means of cultivating tranquility, kindness, and wisdom. Research confirms meditation's positive effects on body and mind. Meditate NYC begins with an afternoon of meditation instruction by Buddhist teachers from a great variety of traditions, interspersed with periods of movement and music. The event is FREE and everyone is welcome!
